ECZ-ID Intent

Define the authorised objective, constraints and validity of what a Passport may do.

ECZ-ID Intent defines the authorised objective, constraints and validity of what a Passport may do. An Intent is authorised only by an owner or administrator of your organisation — nobody authorises their own request — and payment authorises nothing.

For agent operators

Why it matters when the subject is an AI agent.

An agent's Passport says which agent it is and who operates it. An Intent says what it has been authorised to set out to do: the objective, the constraints around it and how long that authorisation is valid. It is written and authorised by people in your organisation, for the Passports you choose, so the boundary you set can be read rather than inferred from configuration.

The questions it helps answer

  • What is this agent authorised to set out to do, and within which constraints?
  • Who in our organisation authorised that, and until when is it valid?
  • Which of our Passports does an Intent cover?

Plans and state

Every plan, its state and its own TrustOps action.

Each plan is read from TrustOps' public catalogue: what it costs, whether it can be started today, and the route TrustOps itself publishes for it. Payment never changes your ECZ-ID.

Fit

Who it is for, and what changes.

Best for

  • Teams that want the authorised purpose of each agent written down, not implied by its configuration.
  • Organisations where an owner or administrator must approve what an agent is for.
  • Reviewers who need to read an agent's authorised boundary in one place.

Outcomes

  • A written objective, constraints and validity for the Passports you choose.
  • A clear record of who authorised each Intent.
  • A boundary that ECZ-ID Intent Control can evaluate proposed actions against.

Inside

What is included, and how it works.

What is included

  • Covered places for authorised Intents, managed in your ECZ-ID console. Each plan covers a set number of places; TrustOps states each plan's allowance.
  • Authorisation by an owner or administrator only — nobody authorises their own request.
  • Essential, Pro and Business plans, monthly or annual prepaid, in the states TrustOps lists below.

How it works

  1. Start from your organisation's free ECZ-ID and the Passports it holds.
  2. An owner or administrator writes the Intent: its objective, its constraints and how long it is valid.
  3. The Intent is recorded against the Passports it covers, in your ECZ-ID console.
  4. Add ECZ-ID Intent Control when you want proposed actions evaluated against it.

Boundaries

What the FREE Passport already gives you, and what this never does.

Already included free

Nothing of this product is part of the free Passport — but the persistent ECZ-ID, the accountable operator and the public Resolver record it builds on always are.

£0 · No card required · Permanent, not a trial.

What it never does

  • Payment authorises nothing. Only an owner or administrator authorises an Intent, and nobody authorises their own request.
  • Holding a Passport is never an authorisation. An Intent changes no ECZ-ID, no Parent tier and no Passport assurance.
  • An Intent changes no Resolver record until the owner publishes a proof.
  • Covered places are not Active Entity Capacity and never use it.
  • Identifying an agent is not controlling it. ECZ-ID does not authorise, restrict, supervise, pause or stop what an agent does — its operator and the party relying on it stay responsible for that.
